These stations have been categorised on the basis of their power generation capacity. The threshold for this map is 0.80 MW. Presently, grid connected solar power generation in Canada is carried out primarily in Ontario. Solar energy technology is comprised of thermal and photovoltaic (PV) technologies. Solar photovoltaic technology converts the sun’s rays into electricity.
